solid, gas , liquid

Today I’m going to teach you about solid, gas, and liquid.  This unit in science at school we were learning  about solids, gases and liquids . First I’m going to talk about a solid ! Solids are little particles that stay together . Sort of when you are cold and want to curl up to stay warm those are some particles in you which makes you a solid . Next, I’m going to talk to you about gas ! There are particles in a gas too ! But they don’t  stay together. They  float all around the empty space . Here are some examples of gas:  air, oxygen, steam, carbon dioxide, helium, smoke.  Finally, I will talk about liquid. Liquid are particles kind of like gas and solid but move slower then gas but faster then solid and make a shape of what they are in. Some examples are water, any kind of juice, slime, gas for cars, oil and a lot more.  That’s what solid, gas, and liquid is about.

Thanksgiving

President Barack Obama, with daughters Sasha, center, and Malia, right, carries on the Thanksgiving tradition of saving a turkey from the dinner table with a "presidential pardon," at the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. After the ceremony, "Cobbler" will head to George Washington's historic home in Virginia to be part of the ÒChristmas at Mount VernonÓ exhibition. Each year the president of the U.S picks about 2 turkeys  to not be killed because so many get killed around this time. President Obama saved a 45 pound turkey named Courage who flew to Disneyland and served as grand marshall of the park Thanksgiving day parade !
